The Ruler of Dubai approves another development project in Jebel Ali

The Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bi Rashid Al Maktoum, has recently approved a number of new development projects in Dubai that will help the latter maintain its reputation as one of the sought-after destinations for investment in the Middle East region. Among the projects that he has approved are the Mohammed Bin Rashid City and the latest one which is located in Jebel Ali that will feature a total of 5 different Themed-Parks based on animals, movies, and fun characters as well as will be developed by Meraas holding, a Dubai-based Real Estate Investment Company with regional and global assets & operations.
Based on the report, the Ruler has just approved such project worth of AED10 billion to focus on delivering the so-called ‘multi-faceted leisure and entertainment experience’ to all residents and tourists of the Emirate.
As part of the plan, the above-mentioned 5 themed-parks will be connected by a vibrant district that will feature the following: the first park will be the Dubai Adventure Studios Fun which is set to be completed two years from now; secondly, it will be followed by a park to be based on Bollywood Movies that will leverage the immense global appeal of Indian Cinema in particular; the next one will be themed around water and marine life that will showcase some activities such as an aquatic life, animal encounters, and live shows; the fourth one is to feature a novel children’s theme park that will be basically appropriated to kids or toddlers, and primary school children; then the last one is a ‘Night Safari Park’ that will be themed particularly around the adventures of the wild desert.
According to Abdulla Ahmed Mohammed Al Habbai, Chairman of Meraas Holding, he said that as the company has been working together with a number of industry experts so as to have a powerful mix of components that will fulfill the need for being a pure entertainment–based destination in the UAE. For this reason, such approval of the project by the Ruler of Dubai just came out because of his vision to maintain the Emirate’s status as a ‘Top Tourist Destination in the World’; for it will contribute to the latter’s continued economic growth accordingly.
