There are now a number of projects which are once again emerging after the impacts of global economic crisis in Dubai. In addition, it will be built into the following two phases: the phase one will feature 100 high-end brands, while the other phase will consist of 60 additional outlet stores.

As a matter of fact, Meraas said that such kind of development is just envisioned to emerge as an iconic and a must-visit destination for both visitors and residents in Dubai. It will retail high-end luxury brands at discounted prices.

In the first place, outlet villages and shopping malls came first to prominence in the United States of America (USA). They are offering end of season products at discounted prices that have been successfully replicated in Europe, from which the inspiration of the above-mentioned project was indeed taken particularly.
As Director at Acuity Middle East which is a retail and business consultancy firm, Richard Adams said that Meraas' on-going Outlet Village project would be a success if it could draw the residents from the Emirate to shop regularly. In other words, he said that the latter's new project will likely succeed only by attracting those residents in Dubai.
