Limitless is finally about to repay its billions of debt

15/10/2012

During the Economic Crisis that started in mid-2008, one of the affected companies operating in Dubai was the Limitless, a former property arm of Dubai World. It has just separated from the latter after the successful restructure of Nakheel Properties which was also part of the aforementioned previous parent-company. As of now, they are being managed or restricted by the Government of Dubai itself.

Based on the report, after Nakheel's better performance for this year 2012, Limitless has also finally reached a restructuring agreement with creditors on its $1.2 billion debt. According to Al Rashid Lootah, Chairman of Limitless, he said that the company is formally about to repay its billions of debt from bank creditors in particular because of the latter's agreement with its proposal.

Under the restructuring agreement, Limitless is also going to repay those trade creditors in full three years from now without offering any interest on the loans due; while other lenders will be paid either in 2012 or 2016. However, the chairman has never unveiled the total amount that would be paid to involved parties or other details of the repayment at all; but rather concluded that such restructuring agreement is about to end, which has already lasted for two years.

So far, at the same time, Limitless has been developing some projects in the following countries: United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Vietnam, and Russia. As a matter of fact, it is currently in talks with other banks just for financing its new project in KSA, which will begin before the end of this year 2012; while the financing for its projects which are located both in Russia and Vietnam has already been secured.
