According to a local market specialist, the demand for property for sale in Dubai continues as strong as ever. A few news from media have proposed the booming property sector in Dubai is position for a slowdown.
Gulf Times letters, market commentator Ryan Mahoney said evidence to support that conclusion is hard to find.
He explained that the population of the emirate is continuing to rise and that the supply of residential property is still not sufficient to meet increasing demand.Mr Mahoney also cited anecdotal evidence from local developers and estate agents, who are generally upbeat about the prospects for Dubai's property market.
"One property consultant … told me how overwhelmed she and her colleagues are with enquiries, suggesting that the volume of business from both investors and end users remains at an all-time high," he added.
Ahmed Jamal of Emerging Markets Property Advisors recently suggested that investors buying property for sale in Dubai would still find excellent occupation levels and rising rental yields.
