Dubai Land Department launches another new initiative

One of Dubai's entities has recently launched another new initiative that has an objective to have a continuous transparency in the Emirate's real estate market particularly. It is the Dubai Land Department (DLD) itself. In other words, it has unveiled its new initiative which is being called as a Real Estate e-Mart, an online or electronic portal in which all the registered residential and commercial properties for sale in the Emirate should be listed.
If once it starts operating online, it will definitely provide both transparency and validity of information of those listed properties according to implemented regulations and laws of the above-mentioned Dubai Government's entity.
According to Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, he said that in the first place, the department has been on the right path to boost the government's e-transformation process in the framework of its strategy to upgrade the latter's services which have been provided to various segments of investors or customers. In addition, as a matter of fact, it is just committed to comply with the best standards and technical practices which are indeed essential part of the department's strategic goals to improve its customer service in particular.
Furthermore, he said that such Real Estate e-Mart which was quite developed by Emirates Real Estate Solutions (ERES), a technical arm of DLD that previously developed the applications such as Simsari and Online Auction, will be one of the most important sources for property information as well as best statistics for both local and regional markets. Then, he concluded that such portal system will represent a safe and reliable channel of communication between the two parties including buyers and sellers in the property market, in which the former will be assured that all the details provided are totally genuine. So, accordingly, it will also help them preserve their rights if in case there will be any disputes to emerge in the future.
