Almas Tower
Almas Tower is a 68 floor tower. The height of Almas Tower is 360 meter, supertall skyscraper in the Jumeirah Lake Towers.The Construction of the office tower had started in the begning of 2005 and was completed in 2009.Almas Tower was the tallest building in Dubai until it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa Tower.
Almas Tower is exists on its own man-made artificial island in the middle of JLT.The tower was constructed by the Taisei Corporation of Japan in a joint venture with Arabian Construction Co. (ACC) who were awarded the contract by Nakheel Properties.
The (DMCC) Dubai Multi Commodities Centre is the developer of Almas Tower, was the first company to start their business in this tower. Almas Tower has the houses facilities,provides a range of multiple services for coloured gemstones,pearls and diamond industry. Along with the Dubai Diamond Exchange, these includes The Dubai Pearl Exchange,The Dubai Gems Club, The Kimberley Process Certification offices.Diamond cutting and exchange takes place in Almas Tower. High security system has installed in the Almas tower because of transactions taking place at the tower.
