Burj Khalifa sells a total of 61 apartments within nine months

Most of the well-established development projects in Dubai have already experienced some positive results, including the currently-world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa that has a total height of 828 meters as well as comprises of 900 one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments. Based on the report, the latter has approximately sold 61 units since the first month of this year 2012.

According to Parves Gafur, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PropSquare Real Estate, a leading Property Brokerage Company in Dubai, he unveiled that the present asking prices for those apartments located in Burj Khalifa as well as with the sea and Sheikh Zayed Road views are between AED2, 900 and AED3, 200 per square ft; while the properties with fountain views, the prices become more than AED3, 500 per square ft. Then, he believed that such impressive increase in values would continue to reach the same level of property prices with 2008, a year in which the prices for apartments were almost AED10, 000 per square ft; while, after two years, in 2009 and 2010, the apartments were sold for as low as AED2, 400 per square ft because of the huge impacts of the so-called 'Global Economic Crisis'.
As a responsible government entity in the Emirate, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has reported that the total value of property transactions in general has reached around AED83 billion during the first 9 months of the year, in which the stunning tower in Downtown Burj Dubai District has recorded a total of 3305 property transactions within the aforementioned period in particular.
