An apartment in Le Reve Tower is the costliest transaction in 2012

As 2013 began, one of the Real Estate Information Companies that focus on the Emerging Markets in the world has unveiled its latest information regarding with the Top 10 Costliest Residential Properties which were sold in the previous year.
Actually, the properties that topped in the list were located both in Dubai Marina and on the artificial archipelago, Palm Jumeirah. Those properties were considered the biggest residential property transactions that were registered in 2012, including the apartment unit in Le Reve Tower that was sold around AED 34. 7 million during the public auction in November 2012; and it was secondly followed by one apartment in Ocean Heights, which was sold for the amount of AED25.55 million as well as AED23.41 million for the third one which is located in Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Residences. So, all of them were the top three registered transactions in the previous year.
Then, they were followed by other property transactions such as for the two villas on the man-made islands that were purchased between AED21.12 million and AED22 million; an apartment in Le Reve for AED20.5 million; an apartment in Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Residences for AED19.14 million; AED18.5 million for another apartment in Le Reve Tower; and the last two properties were both from Bayside Residence and Le Reve Towers, which were sold for AED18 million respectively.
According to Jones Lang LaSalle, a Global Property Consultancy Company, it has disclosed its report for Q4 2012. It said that the asking residential sale prices in Dubai properties increased around 12 per cent in prime buildings located in well-established developments on the yearly basis; while the asking prices for villas have also jumped by 24 per cent on the same basis. In addition, it further said that the latter sale prices will possibly continue the upward trend within this year 2013, particularly in those attractive prime locations in Dubai.
