Al Habtoor Group warmly welcomes the Ruler of Dubai

Being one of the most respected and successful businesses not only in the UAE markets but also throughout the International markets, Al Habtoor Group which is indeed globally known through its involvement in the following different sectors: hospitality, automotive, education, insurance, publishing, and real estate has recently welcomed the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, together with his Deputy, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Actually, they were warmly welcomed by the following involved individuals: Khalaf Al Habtoor, Chairman of Al Habtoor Group; Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Group; Ahmed Al Habtoor, CEO of Al Habtoor Motors; Yusef Shalabi, Director of Projects & Real Estate; and lastly Martyn Wilde, Project Director.

Based on the report, the reason of the Ruler's visit was quite to see the latest projects developed by the above-mentioned company, including its new hotel developments which are both located along the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Road and on the artificial archipelago in Dubai, Palm Jumeirah. Actually, such projects are just part of the group's vision to invest around AED5.9 billion in the hospitality industry itself, which was announced in the previous year.

Now, the construction works for the two hotels are still ongoing. If once completed in 2015, the first project which is located along the prestigious road in the Emirate will be the first-ever integrated resort that will comprise of three hotels on one-complex and a Las Vegas Style Theatre as well. In fact, the three hotels such as St. Regis Hotel, W. Hotel, and Westin Hotel will be managed particularly by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. For being such, it will be the largest hotel complex in the Middle East region as well as one of the biggest complexes in the world. Secondly, it is concurrently developing the Waldorf Astoria Hotel located on the palm-shaped islands, Palm Jumeirah, which is expected to open next year. As a matter of fact, it will be the latter's first luxury resort in Dubai that will be having approximately around 320 rooms and suites. Then, it will feature the following amenities and facilities: signature restaurants, two bars, health club, spa, private beach, business centre, conference rooms, and a total of 600-capacity ballroom.

As Chairman, Khalaf Al Habtoor said that it was a great pleasure for Al Habtoor Group to receive the Highness of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In other words, the company was so blessed by his visit; for it gives the latter a so-called 'incentive and additional drive' as it is continuously progressing in parallel with the UAE as a whole or the Dubai Government's vision in particular.
