672 people detained for violating residency laws

672 detainees, violators of UAE residency laws and 30 infiltrators in the first half of this year announced by Naturalization and Residency Department on Friday.
According to Colonel Sultan Yousuf Al Nuaimi, heads of the department, figures show the number of violators from January 1 to May 31.
He said, that the department's inspectors have undertaken many inspection campaigns which cover the emirate including remote areas, which the infiltrators and illegal residents believe to be an ideal shelter.
