The new Tallest Hotel in the world officially opens

After acquiring the title of being the ‘Tallest Hotel in the World’, given by Guinness Book of World Records, the JW Marriott International, a luxury hotel chain, celebrated the official opening of its new landmark hotel in the Middle East region: JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel that has a total height of 1, 165 feet, which is the first hotel property of the company located outside of North America as well as the latter’s new hotel that completed its total hotel portfolio to 59 in the global markets.
According to Arne Sorenson, President and CEO of Marriott International, he said that having the company’s branded hotel in Dubai, which has been one of the world’s most exciting cities that offer world-class infrastructure and facilities, is considered as a great achievement because of its future growth potential in particular. In addition, he also said that such investment is just a proof for JW Marriott Company to have more opportunities to come in the future.
Actually, the said hotel is the first one in the Emirate that will be able to accommodate thousands of visitors or large groups; and then it will play a key role to attract major conventions and events to the destination. In other words, it has the following features: 7, 500 square meters of indoor and outdoor event space; two ballrooms; large selection of world-class dining and entertainment options; nine restaurants; five bars & lounges; etc.
Now, as General Manager of JW Marquis, Rupprecht Queitsch also said that due to the fact that the Emirate of Dubai is indeed well-known as a Global Business Hub, it has led the company to officially open its above-mentioned new landmark hotel property that will set additional standards in hospitality industry both regionally and internationally.
