Teracrea is about to introduce the new concept of Design & Greenery Outdoor Environments in Dubai

A Greenery Campaign has been practiced in Dubai as part of the Ruler’s vision to make the Emirate not only as an Economic Hub in the Middle East region but also a Friendly-Environment City in the world.
On March 25 until March 27, 2013, the Outdoor Design Build & Supply Show will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre in tandem with Dubai Municipality as well as to be supported by Municipality of Abu Dhabi City and Al Ain City Municipality. Based on the report, the Teracrea, an Italian Company, is going to introduce the concept of the residential tower with plants built into facades and balconies within the 3-day event. Then, it will present the first constructed residential Flower Tower in Paris during the aforementioned show, which was designed by a French Architect, Edouard Francois.
Actually, the main objectives of the company's concept are as follows: to be an extension of surrounding parks; blending gardens with both concrete and glass; creating an impression that even in urban areas such Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, the residents or tenants will feel as if they are just surrounded by forests in particular.
According to Lamberto Scalabrin, Export Manager at Teracrea, he said that the company believes that such concept will be possibly appreciated or applied in Dubai or in the Middle East region as a whole; for it is a new concept of design in the greenery of outdoor environments, in which the tower will be encircled by living plants and using the so-called ‘centralized automatic irrigation’.
So, the Government of Dubai has assumed that after one more decade, the emirate would be covered in green space. Now, as such new legislation is being spread out not only in Dubai but throughout the Middle East region, all the developers and contractors are being required to at least include a minimum of 25 per cent of green space and outdoor landscaping in all of their future residential and commercial projects.
