DPG signs a contract to build GEMS International School in Dubailand

As master developer of Dubailand Development, Dubai Properties Group ( DPG) has once again signed a contract for the new project to build a GEMS Cambridge International School that will be located exactly at The Villa, which is just considered as part of the company’s plan to enhance more the community facilities within the aforementioned development.
As Director of Real Estate Management at DPG, Sahar Al Ansari said that the company has welcome the International School because of its great reputation in Dubai that would be a good advantage for all residents in the development and surrounding suburbs as well. Likewise, Jay Varkey, Senior Director of GEMS, he also said that the management is so glad to offer such education to all residing both in and around The Villa. In fact, if compared to UK National Average, the school has been outstanding in 2012 that almost reached around 20 per cent increase.
The school project will be having a total of 600 seat performance space or examination hall, a science discovery zone, music classrooms, sports facilities, campus-wide wireless, etc. Then, it is expected that there will be around 3, 000 students from the ages between 3 and 18, who can accommodate.
Lasly, that newly-launched school project is indeed expected to open 18 months from now as well as it is set to be located on the 32 hectare plot in Dubailand.
